Sizing

How do the tees fit? They're the Thread Project Epic Tee: 100% combed cotton, 195 to 200gsm, regular unisex fit. Easiest way to pick a size is to lay a tee he already likes flat and measure it, then match it below.

Measurements can be out by about 2.5 cm either way. Between sizes? Go up.

What about hoodies and the cap? Hoodies are the AS Colour 5101 Supply Hood in S to 3XL. The cap is the AS Colour 1100 snapback, one size, adjustable.

Delivery

How long will it take? Everything is printed to order, so it isn't sitting on a shelf. Orders are usually dispatched within 3 to 5 working days, and most arrive within a week. Allow up to 10 days in busy weeks. You'll get tracking when it's on its way.

Is shipping really free? Yep, anywhere in New Zealand. We only ship within NZ.

Returns and exchanges

Wrong size? Email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the size you need, then post the unworn, unwashed tee back. The return courier is on you. Once it arrives, we print and send the right size at no charge.

Something wrong with it? If it's faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, email us straight away. We'll replace it or refund you, your call, and we'll cover the return courier.

Changed your mind? Send it back unworn and unwashed within 30 days and we'll refund the item. The return courier is on you. Because everything is printed to order, we can't take back anything that's been worn or washed unless it's faulty.

Custom tees. Make Your Own tees are made just for you, so exchanges are for faults or wrong sizes only.

Printing

How are they printed? Our NZ print partner prints each one after you order, using DTG (direct to garment), which prints the design straight onto the cotton. Then it goes out by NZ courier.

Where does the design go? On most tees the saying goes across the upper back, with the small Dance Dads mark under the collar, and the front is left plain. The Show Dad Pack is the exception: its design goes on the front, with both logos on the back. On the Make Your Own Tee you can upgrade to front and back for $15. We never print front only.

Can I add her name? Yes. On most tee and hoodie pages you can add "Dance Dad of" with your dancer's name on the lower back, or the Dance Dads logo on the sleeve, for $15 each. The Show Dad Pack is the one exception: it’s printed in a single batch for the show, so there are no add-ons on that one.

The Show Dad Pack

What is it? It's the show tee for Dance24Seven Studios' annual show, Knot Your Average Princess, on 21 and 22 November 2026. It's $59 and comes with a drink voucher for a beer or drink of your choice at the Dance Dads meet-up, 12 noon Sunday 22 November at the Fantail & Turtle. The drink is only part of this Dance24Seven pack.

What designs are there? Dance Dad, Dance Grandad, Dance Poppa, Dance Mum and Dance Grandma, in black, dark navy, heather grey or white, sizes S to 2XL.

When do I need to order? Pre-orders close Sunday 8 November. They're all printed in one batch for show week.

Can I pick it up? Delivery anywhere in NZ is free. Or collect from the studio during class times, Monday 16 to Friday 20 November, or from the Dance Dads table at the show. Just reply to your order confirmation email to let us know you'd like to collect.

Gift cards

How do they work? There's a One Tee card ($59), a Two Tee card ($118) and a Tee + Hoodie card ($148). They're emailed when you buy, so they can't arrive late or be the wrong size. He picks the saying and the size. Gift cards can't be returned.

Are you part of Dance24Seven? Dance Dads started among the dads at Dance24Seven Studios in Auckland, but it's our own thing, and it's for dance dads at any studio.
